For no real justifiable reason, I decided to install my DSE subframe connectors in a bolt-in fashion. If I get a wild hair, I can unbolt the subframe from the body? The weld in designs are of course most rigid, but this application is a good compromise if you want rigidity but also the ability to remove the front subframe.
The DSE connectors are designed as a full weld in design. The connectors come with templates and the connectors. I followed the steps pretty much in this post over on the PT website.

I saw a picture from a member here (69ProTouring) that showed what I wanted to do in this thread. http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=66466
Here's some pics from my install:

If cutting up your floor pan makes you queasy, then don't look any further...

Don't make fun of my welding. After the ends were installed, I added 1/8" plates on the sides as spacers to move the DSE brackets to better fit the width of the subframe.

I'm not an engineer. I don't really think this piece adds too much structurally...I was pretty much just having fun in the garage...

Hopefully, you can see the brackets plus the bottom plate I made are welded to the front subframe. That is bolted with 1/2" grade 8 hardware to the connector, which only has 6" of distance from the bolt to where it is welded to the floor pan.
