Ok, my next step is to remove the front fenders to get the inner fenders out and have them powdercoated along with the control arms, center link, spindles, and a few other misc parts.
Can anyone explain the best way to remove the fenders? Archives show some saying you should take the inner and outer off at the same time, some mention it can be done without removing the outer fender. If I need to remove the outer fender, I know I will have to remove the hood/hinges, but what else would have to come off 'before' and I can removing the fender? Valance? Header? Although I am sure I can figure it out, I just really want to get everyones advise before I just start removing pieces. Maybe save myself some time!

Un-bolt it at the cowl, inside the upper part of the door, just in front of the rocker panel, the stabilizer bar, core support, header panel and the lower valance.
By all means pull the fender and the wheelhouse at the same time. Putting a newly coated wheelhouse back in with the fender on the car will absolutely, positively scratch the wheelhouse.

If you are putting back all the same sheetmetal it may be worth taking a couple pictures or at least writing the # of shims on each bolt. This could save some time when you start putting it all back together. I took a bunch of digital photos as I took my car apart and actually referred back to many of them since months had passed when I put it back together.
