makes you wonder if there is a GM yard this large.
jackr Jul 18th, 06, 03:20 PM No one would knowingly throw out a perfectly good car. Thus a mustang boneyard exists. J.K. what a place. Never crushed any it looks like.
69-Z11Pacer Jul 18th, 06, 03:54 PM WOW. I just sent the link to a buddy of mine who is a Mustang lover (so sad)... anyway I think I have to alert 911. I think he's going into shock..LOL.
Scott Taylor Jul 19th, 06, 07:40 AM It's good to see that at least a couple of thousand Mustangs are where they belong.
clwilcox33 Jul 19th, 06, 07:48 AM That is just insane. Imagine finding a yard with that many Camaros in it!
ZZMike Jul 19th, 06, 07:58 AM It's good to see that at least a couple of thousand Mustangs are where they belong.
That's harsh, dude LOL :D
The sad thing is I also own a 2004 Mustang Cobra :(
Codi Jul 19th, 06, 09:06 AM If a yard had that many Camaros, it would be a TC fest, not a wrecking yard.
Vintage 68 Jul 19th, 06, 09:55 AM Nice to see someone so commited to getting Fords off the road...
I actually visited their shop/wharehouse several times when I lived in Denver and was helping a neighbor redoing a 69 "Musthing".
They had a great inventory and sold some nicely refurbished parts. We bought a floor shift conversion and other upgrade interior parts and they were all in perfect shape and included everything we needed.
Foose made a reference to them in an episode of Overhaulin' a season or two ago when they were redoing a 'Rustang' for someone.
A business with their inventory depth and commitment to customers is a big plus to the Mustang restorers.
markr Jul 19th, 06, 10:20 AM What do you call 2000 Mustangs in a wrecking yard ?
A Good Start :D
TJS69 Jul 19th, 06, 01:16 PM Where is all the rust ? That place is a restorers dream. Probably 1/2 of those cars could be restored ! If they were Camaro's they would be ! Too bad a restored Mustang is still just a Mustang. :) :)
DOUG G Jul 19th, 06, 01:23 PM He must have a lot of friends....
Friends don't let friends drive F##ds !
litdog68ss Jul 19th, 06, 04:17 PM You guys are harsh
I wouldn't trade my 68 camaro project for any of them, but i wouldnt mind if he gave me a couple of those fastbacks and the couple SVO's I see for parts for mine :)
Corvettemaster Jul 19th, 06, 04:21 PM Brand loyalty is one thing but narrow minded and red around the neck is another. Of course you may feel that way if you had your doors blown off by a MUSTANG or any other FORD for that matter. The way I see it is FORD DODGE & GM are all AMERICAN and thats all I need to know. I OWN at least one fine example of each as well as several needing TLC and I care about all of them the same. So if your gonna bitch about a brand how about slammin that lawn mower Honda that just past you thinking he some how could every compete with an AMERICAN ICON. ALL AMERICAN ALL THE TIME! If didn't bash american made cars and stop buying imports just think of the things Detroit would be build for us with all that profit. BUY AMERICAN GENTLEMEN before we are all speaking a differnt language!

litdog68ss Jul 19th, 06, 04:31 PM I wouldnt' even go so far as to bash imports. There are plenty of imports I'd like to have also (although none with body kits and wings and weedwacker exhausts).. I just have respect for a well built and tastefully modified vehicle, with speed in mind.
DOUG G Jul 19th, 06, 04:50 PM Damn, can't take a joke ?
Don't take everything you read to heart, you can't hear the laughter in my voice by reading what I typed. :D
BTW... 4 Chevrolets here. (98 Malibu,05 Silverado,06 Trailblazer, and my favorite the 68 Camaro)
I only have so much $$$$. <--joke,ok ?
Ghostbuster Jul 19th, 06, 04:59 PM Where is all the rust ? That place is a restorers dream. Probably 1/2 of those cars could be restored ! If they were Camaro's they would be ! Too bad a restored Mustang is still just a Mustang. :) :)We don't use salt in Colorado, and no humidity.
The Chevrolet donor-yard in Denver has 2 locations, but is much smaller..
(more milehigh Camaro fans!)

bigproj69 Jul 19th, 06, 05:56 PM Buy American, huh? I work for a company that supplies parts to GM. Parts that are MADE IN CHINA!
So sad. They just don't make them WHERE they used to.
