A friend of mine just bought a pretty nicely restored 67 Camaro. It has a 327 in it. It has headers but the exhaust really quiets it down a lot.
Its a dual exhaust and all but he wants to hear the engine more. It sounds as quiet as the day it was stock.

The dual exhaust on it looks to be about 2" pipes through two mufflers.

I recommended he go with a 3" exhaust with 2 flomaster mufflers.


What do you all recommend?

If all he wants is to hear the engine just have a nice pair of glasspacks installed. Just like back in 1967..............
