my window (drivers side) does not correctly line up with the rear 1/4 window. I installed new Rubber 1/4window seals, however the door doesnt seem to go in far enough, the door shuts fine, hinges are good and the alignment seems fine, but the window seems to "stick out" a bit,
here is a picture, let me know what you think

I dunno, that looks pretty normal to me...there is some inboard/outboard adjustment for the quarter glass and door glass. To access the adjustment you will have to remove the interior door panels and rear seat side panels. The 1/4 window in/out adjustments are made by shortening or lengthening the bolts that hold the track to the body. The door glass adjusts in/out by the door panel hangars (at least on '68, not 100% sure if '67 is identical). Loosen the bolt and slide the hangars inboard/ outboard, tighten.
But I really don't think you have any problem there. Looks very normal http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif ! You would be suprised how inconsistent the factory assembly of most '60's era cars was... http://www.camaros.net/forum/eek.gif

Like choptop says, it's a combination of the two windows. To adjust the in/out position of the door, adjust the 2 stabilizer strips/felts at the top of the door and two other adjustments. 1-At about 3" down from the top of the door at the front of it, there are two adjustment screws that are positioned downwards inside a rectangular hole. 2- At the rear top of the door there is a step down with two more adjusting screws, also looking downwards. If you have a fax # available, I can send you a couple of pages related to the window adjustments from the service manual. IMO, window alignment is the most troublesome issue in my 68. http://www.camaros.net/forum/confused.gif Good luck...
Ooops, didn't noticed yours is a 67, but the info is available anyway.

thanks everyone, I guess its close. but if i wash the car water goes right in to the drivers seat. and all inside the car. because of those old rubber things, once I replaced them I thought hey great. but no... theres too large a gap. I will try to move the window in closer, its kinda crooked too, the top side hangs over the chrome trim of the rear window a bit...
thanks again
