I was wanting to know if anyone knows how to get the hydraulics off of the rear hatch on a 2000 firebird I know its not a camaro but its close and its my wife's car, she also has a 69 Camaro too so its OK to have this too!

You talking about the rear hatch struts? If so they have a little clip that needs to be popped off and then just pulled apart.
