I finally got the car out of the shop and the new Dougs Headers and Flowmaster 17104 system look good. It sounds great (nice deep bass). I can't help but notice that the garage has a new hardcore "power smell" from the car when it gets parked. The headers are coated, so I'm wondering if that smell is from them?

I think the smell is from the Flowmasters. It takes a long time to burn off. I had my Dougs headers on without the Flowmasters and it was fine. Put on the Flowmaster exhaust system and it stunk for a while.

That is the smell of pure raw power beware it is intoxicating.
