How fast will I go in the 1/4 and 0-60? I am having a 383 put in my 67 RS/SS Camaro. It has 440 HP at 5500 and about 450 ft/lbs of torque as well at 4000 or so. I have a 700r4 with shift kit and 3000 stall. It has a 373 posi rear. Any ideas? I got so tired of riceburners blowing my stock 350 out of the water!!! Thanks! DeAngelo

If it's really 440 hp you should have no problems running high 11's with a good suspension. 0-60 times should be in the mid-3 second range.

Sounds like a really nice combo,But i'm gonna say it again.......there are way to many variables when searching for a quarter mile number.
The only way to tell/know what its gonna run IS TO RUN IT !!!!!
If you truly do have that much power,It is easily capable of running in the mid to high 11's, to low 12's.If its a street car not set up for drag racing, expect somewhere in the 13's to 14's.

Should be a low 12 or a high 11. This is just a estimate, it does not consider traction or weather conditions.

Thanks for all of the great feedback! You guys are great!!! Yup, it is a street car. I just want it to be faster than these tiny foreign jobs! Classic muscle should prevail!!! :) ANy guess of 0-60 times. I have pretty stock suspension and 275/60 15's. And the 440 HP is gross HP on the dyno with the engine out of the car. Thanks again! I'll guess somewhere between 3.5 and 10 seconds, depending on how good you are.
