I don't know if this has asked lately, but is there any word on a repro 67 console yet? I need one in the worst way!!

There's one on page 100 of the Classic Industries catalogue. If you don't have a copy you can download one at www.classicindustries.com - kinda pricey, and it says the console door, hinge, etc., are available seperately. It's not a complete kit like you can get for the 68 & 69. Alternatively there's always some on ebay, although for a nice original one they always seem to demand a premium. Here's a couple examples for you:

The "buy it now" on this one actually seems to be a pretty good deal, if it's in acceptable condition for you - I didn't look too closely, but it looks fairly nice

Hope that helps!

The 67 consoles are still not being repro'd. They've been saying any day now for several years. Used in decent condition on Ebay usually do go for 250+. Expect to pay over 300 for one in great condition. I have an extra one I need to put up on Ebay this week myself.

I'd go for the 3rd one that Mike linked to above. It's in about as good a shape as any. Notice the rear mounting hole underneath the ashtray has been repaired....About 13 of the last 15 I've looked at have all been broken there or repaired. It's pretty rare to find one not cracked. Though one of the one's Mike linked to looks to not have been broken, but the console itself is in bad shape. Good luck.

I didn't look too closely at them - just kind of superficially glanced, and I don't know too much about the '67 consoles. Thanks for correcting me, I'd hate to recommend something that isn't in good shape. I'm getting addicted to ebay, I'm always seeing more on there if those aren't that good. I saw something on "My Classic Car" with Dennis Gage about repro consoles recently, that's what prompted me to check the Classic Industries catalogue - here's a screen capture of the console on Page 100:

They've got it in their catalogue at least, maybe not the whole thing. Perhaps there's some parts of it you can't get yet, or maybe they'll say it's backordered if you try to order it... Just the base is awfully expensive, and with the way the repro parts I've had experience with have fit, I would think you'd be better to go with an original if you can find a good one that's reasonably priced (that third ebay link is a complete original for considerably less than this repro base).

Just about every vendor has them in their catalog, because the manufacturers have been saying they'd be ready "any day now" for a couple years. But when you call them all, they say they aren't in stock yet...

Hmm... that doesn't seem fair, putting something in their catalog you can't buy yet. I guess it makes sense from their perspective, can't go and reprint all those catalogs halfway through the year if it finally does become available.

I have a couple of 67 consoles myself I need to get rid of. I bought one...then decided hmm maybe this one is in better shape....then after all that I bought a third one made for gauges. I didn't want to modify a good original for that. So now I'm stuck with 2 extra non gauge consoles!

Thanks for the responses guys. Since nobody is coming out with one at a fair price anytime soon, I'll keep looking on ebay. I have a lid and ashtray so that's not important-- but I don't want to modify an orignal non guage for guages, so hopefully I can find one with guages.:)
