I recently came accross a 69Z that is complete and original. The intake manifold and valve covers have some aluminum corrosion. What is the best way to return these to original condition.
It seems that polishing would not be effective or original looking. How about bead blasting?
Thanks for any help

Try Naval Jelly made by pematex it works wonders. It won't change the texture of the intake like blasting will either

I've had good luck with wire wheel acid.
It leaves aluminum parts clean and bright!
Just be sure to protect your hands and face.
Just pour some in a spray bottle, spray some on,let it set then, hose it off.
