I've replaced my (NOM) 396 with a 502, and have a set of the 502 badges intended for my '69 Camaro. Unfortunately, I can't see an obvious way to get at the nuts on the back of the existing badges in order to remove them.

Is there any secret, like going through the headlights, etc? Or if not, what needs to come apart in terms of fenders and inner fenders to get at them?

dave if you are talking about the numbers near the side lights, its a reach back in there if the vac tank is in place or the battery on the pass. side. If those are out of the way, you should be able to reach them from on top of the fender.

Thanks, I didn't realize the inner fenders ended there. Was easy to swap them once the battery and vacuum cannister were out of the way as you said!
