View Full Version : Thank You All!!
mbmmca Jul 26th, 06, 08:14 PM It seems that this is one phrase that isn't used enough in the proper fashion. I wanted to edxtend a heartfelt Thank You" to all of you here. You have bailed me out on numerous occasions when I have done something stupid. And in all that time, not one person has bashed me for being a girl attempting to infilterate a predominately "man's" world. No one has said "have your husband do it" or, more importantly, " you can't do this.."
Just wanted you all to know how much you are appreciated, and say "thanks" for all the support. Because of all of that, My car may actually be test driveable over the next few weeks.

Some girls . . .
mbmmca Jul 27th, 06, 04:24 AM Funny guys....:D
The plan (mine anyway) is to final fit the 1/4 panels and hard weld them this friday and/or saturday. There is one driver seat installed. The drive shaft and gas tank need to be installed as well as tightening down the front end, (no work done there yet) My goal?? Test drive by Labor day weekend...
But, that said, without the help from all of you, (hubby is a nomad man) I wouldn't have been able to get as much done as I have. I thought you guys deserved the thanks.;)

I feel respect for a woman who can do automotive work, specially cause I'm no match to my wife, regarding her around the house duties. Womens are VERY special human beings, and deserve all our respect.

fishin4info Jul 27th, 06, 08:14 AM Thank you for posting your questions and thoughts here. I, as long as many others I am sure, have learned alot as what to watch out for when we get to your stage of the project. I read every post I can just to learn from everyone elses experiences so that I may be prepared and know how to tackle issues when they may arise.
DOUG G Jul 27th, 06, 02:04 PM MB, I like a woman who can change her own flat tire and oil too. Maybe I could ship my wife out for lessons ? (but then she might just ship me out to Timbuctu<sp> w/o a return label)
