guys' I have a brand new in the box SUN tach the GM part # is 3839947 packing date nov 30 1966 on the back of the tach is model SST-90 does anybody know what it fits and what its worth? [I won't throw a fit if you say its not worth much!] I know its not for a camaro but with all the knowledge you guys have maybe I can find out what it fits!

My guess would be that it is an over the counter tach such as those sold today through GM Perofrmance. I would say it has some value, how much? If you want to sell it, and get the most out of it try e-bay or you could just pick a price.

steve is correct there give ebay a shot someone on there will know the vaule. it,s better if you can give a pic on that auction stuff

If you want to find out the value on ebay without actually selling the item you can place it up for auction and just put a $10,000. reserve on it. I know it sounds kind of deceptive but it works.

Just read your post on the Sun Tach, its for any V-8 and cost new about $55 had one in a old 63SS impala back in the dark ages. would love to put one in my 68RS if you would like to get rid of it. would feel right at home with my floor mount Graig 8 track http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif

That is the Tach that was put on the 409 cars and the big cars (IMAPLA, BISCAN) 427 cars had to oder it or over the conter. 66 and back have not seen one on anyting newer my uncle has one on his capres he got this car new in 66. Let me know how much you wont for it they are way cool I have wonted one for a long time.
