What is the best brand and type of paint that is now available? I like PPG, but is there a better brand? Also base coat/ clear coat system used to be the best. What is the best now?
The one place I worked used to swear by Martin Senior paint. What is that stuff like now?
I'm looking to repaint mine and I'd like to be updated with what's out there on the market.
Thanks

Bruce, everyone has their own preferance in paint. I used PPG products, BC/CC. I was very pleased with the results. Others like DuPont, etc. My best advice is to use what you like or have experience in and what ever supplier is close to you. Find a supplier that will take the time to answer your questions and be helpful. I ended up with PPG because "Ed" at the supply store did everything but paint my car. He could'nt help me enough.

As long as it is a top quality product, it won't matter much. I agree with Codi. The paint store that will help you the most is the one I would deal with. My personal favorite is PPG because they are the closest to me and I know all the guys there.

Thanks, I myself have used PPG and never had any troubles with it, so like the old sayin goes, "if it ain't broke, why fix it"....so I guess I'll use PPG.
Thanks again,
Bruce
