Ok guys. I have gutted the interior. All that is left is the steering column and that damn black A/C - Heater box that I will try to remove today.
Number one. I assume I should peel all the black sticky stuff up from the floorboards.
Number 2. Once I do that can I just pressure wash the inside clean? Its filthy in there...

ALSO- How do I get any standing water out after I spray it down? Towel soak it up?

I would use a bucket of warm soapy water and brushes/rags. Use an air nozzle to dry after washing it out. If the floors are not rusted under that mat I woudn't touch them.

Try a shop vac first and get all the loose stuff. Then a good degreaser such as 409 or Super Clean and a damp rag. Would not saturate interior with water. Leave the matting alone as it is an insulator and sound deadner unless you plan on replacing it.

Those floors look near mint, I wouldn't power wash them as there are too many places for water to seep, hide and become the start of something you really don't want...

fwi, a leaf blower does a great job getting things dry. I use it everytime I hose out my engine compartment.

you should see the looks I get blowing every spot of water out of the engine compartment with my screaming gas blower.... whatever, it works, gets every drop out of every nook and cranny without a single water spot!
Not sure about hosing the interior tho. I suppose if he pull all four drain plugs to let the water out it could work. Think I'd be more comfortable with a shop vac, sponge and cleaner, and lots of paper towels.
