Let's try this again. I posted this yesterday but I can't find it anywhere. I was thinking the forum nazi got me ;).
Anyway, has anyone used the new complete door shells I'm seeing in most of the catalogs? What is meant by complete? Will everything on my existing doors transfer?
My body man pointed out a good bit of rust on the bottom of my 68's doors. He said he could weld in some metal and lead it over and with new skins they would be about as good as new. He said I would probably save some $$ with the repros but he wasn't sure how good they'll fit.
Thanks for any input

Ooops I found it on page 2 of general tech. How come you've let that stay there? I screwed up and should have put it here in the body forum. Please delete one of them. Sorry

Winch, I bought the door and it looks ok. I haven't bolted it to the car or tried to install all the window guts yet. Going to paint it first and I'm a slow painter.

Thanks BTC, who did you get it from? I suspect they all come from the same supplier anyway. Any idea when you'll put it on? Keep us informed.

I got it from Classic Industries. Hope to have it on within a month.

Please post back on fit/finish/metal thickness/etc. One of my doors is bubbling, too.
