Just to let everybody know, Wayne Due is closing his shop. It's pretty sad to see that, he's a real good guy. I'm not sure if he is taking any more orders right now, but you can email him on his webpage and find out.

I wish him the best on his new path, wherever that might be...

I'm curious too. A guy at work has a friend who bought one of his front ends and its great quality! It's sad if he's closing...

Yeah, wonder why? Maybe he wasn't busy enough or just got tired of it. He is a really nice guy, when I was 17 we worked at the same auto repair place for about 2 weeks, I filled his position and I believe he was headed to a dealership, then he all of a sudden appeared on the camaro scene, funny how things work, he got in with the right people for sure.
Overhead had to be low on his business, last I heard he was working out of his family's barn on thier old strawberry farm in Marysville, his family's was one of the biggest strawberry farms in town.
Wonder If he's going to have a big garage sale, hmm....
Hope he does well with whatever he does.

According to posts over at Pro-Touring.com and Lateral-G, he's having a zoning dispute with the local government that has put him out of business for now.

Hmm, I wonder if it's the fact he is still at his family farm, that would be an issue running a business in an area zoned for farming. Snohomish county is a mother about that, close to his land there is a major car dealer thats had a long standing battle with the county, he wants to put a dealership on farm land thats also in a 100 year flood plain, they have shut him down repeatedly, and he's got lots of money backing him.
That would make sense, since he's been sucessful with his fab work.

True PDQ, but remember, there is two sides to every story.

It's not a zoning issue, I spoke to a buddy yesterday that knows wayne, he's just moving on.
