I have taken apart the 5 leaves of my 1969 Camaro. I am going to re-paint them. Is there one paint that is more flexible than the others? I would like to use either POR-15, Red Rustoleum, or a DX-1791 and then DP-90. I think that all would be good for this application; but one may be better in for this flexible application. I am looking more for durability than looks. Has anyone had better luck with any of the three?

Flexibility is not the problem, it's how sticky it will be. I don't recommend painting between the leaves. I did it once and the leaves were dang near welded together and wouldn't let the suspension work! http://www.camaros.net/forum/eek.gif You want the least possible paint on them.

I took mine apart, blasted them and painted with por-15. They came out great. No problems.
