I have a mint original 67 Camaro Deck lid from my car and am wondering what it would be worth? I have a buddy who wants to buy it off of me and I'm not sure what its worth. It is in primer.

Deck lids interchange for 67 thru 69, although it seems like there are slight differences in the cutouts on the underside to accomodate the spoiler
They seem to sell in the 100 dollar range. Check ebay for comparable deck lids.

I agree with Unreal. I have been looking for a lid for my 67 to mount a spoiler on so I can have it both ways. One just sold on ebay for 41 bucks but it was fairly banged up looking. I also found them for 75-95 dollars from other people. Keep in mind this is just the lid, does not include the latch. Is yours drilled for spoiler?
I am still looking by the way so if you don't sell it to him email me or place an ad in the classifieds here.

Camaro country is selling mint lids anywhere from 3-400. I've seen NOS lids go for 800. I got a real nice one for 70.

Thanx for your replies everyone. Mine is drilled for a spoiler, and is rust free. I was thinking around $200 is this fair?

As I understand no 67 deck lids should be drilled for a spoiler from the factory as no 67's were offered with spoilers in the front or rear. i don't know this for sure but I have read it in threads. If this is true an original undrilled or cut one would be worth $200.00 or more depending on condition. One that's drilled? Don't know but I don't think it would be worth $200.00 I would think more like $50.00 if it's mint because if 67 were not available with spoilers and it has holes they are not factory and might look like crap. If they look good and original it might not be a 67 deck lid?

I don't know and I am only making a suggestion........not saying your lid is not worth anything or a piece of junk, just leting you know what has been said in the past.

If you mean $200 CDN, maybe that's fair. If you mean $200 US, then he must not really be a buddy.

As stated by Joe Harrison it was not drilled from the factory. It has been drilled by someone else. It is the factory 67 lid for my car. It still has some of the original paint inside. LOL Thanx alot for the insight I appreciate it.

I am going to put a rear spoiler on my 67........I started looking for spoilers and asking about holes when I learned about 67 not having them. I had looked at the trunk a number of times and since it had been a while and the last Camaro I had was a 68 the lid on my 67 just looked wierd from on the underside. I then found out that 67 lids are worth a few bucks if they have not been cut or drilld for a spoiler.

now putting on a spoiler becomes a project that is going to cost 2 or 3 times the amount i wanted to spend because i will not drill or cut my 67 lid. Will I keep it? Well i have to for now......would i trade it for a 68 lid with a spoiler? In heart beat.............have I asked around/ youbet I have but no takers. Moral to the story.
No matter how much they say they are worth, they are only worth as much as you can get for them when your trying to sell them or trade them. The way my luck goes is I would trade it for a 68 lid and spoiler and 2 days later have someone ask if it's still for sale and want to pay $300.00 for it!! Still a wash but I think I could find a good 68 lid and spoiler for under $200.

Anyone want to trade? My lid is in great condition
