I finished installing my LS1 into my 67 Camaro. I had the whole front end sheet metal off the car. I have sinced put everything back together. My doors line up better than before. The hood lines up nice on drivers' side but is off by 1/4" from the front pass side fender. Also, my new 17" wheels/tires stick out from the fender on the pass side but not on the driver's side. Also, the driver's side fender sticks out further than the door by just a bit. This all points to the radiator support, I think. So, I was thinking that I could loosen up the radiator support and move the nose over towards the pass side a bit. Do you think I can accomplish this with everything bolted up? What do I need to loosen to get this to move? Any suggestions are welcome.

There is alot of adjustment available where the radiator support bolts to the frame. The holes in the frame are 7/8" and the bushing holes are 3/4", the bolts are 1/2". You can move the radiator support but your bumper is bolted to the frame, and the fenders are fastened to the cowel above the firewall they should get consideration.
Good luck with those big rad. support bolts if you live in the salt belt like I do. I had to replace them and the bushings they were so badly rusted. So I'm gona say yes you can move it over the way you said but just loosen those screws on the cowel a little then look around for any other points where the body is fastened that might hold you up.

Yeah, I already had the radiator support out, so rusted bolts will not be a problem. As for the bumber, I did not put that back on yet, so I will give it a shot tonight. After all, I did not have this problem when I took it apart 4 months ago.
