I have a numbers correct 1969 z28, but the door mirrors are the style that came out in 1970. I would like to know if these were put on any 1969 z28's. They are the remote control style.

Crome mirrors 69. Bullet mirrors 70~82. The Bullet mirrors were one of many so called great improvements of the 70 Camaro. I will give them credit for a better driving car, but the body styling cannot compare to the 69.

I have bullet mirrors on my 69. They look much cooler, even though they are not correct. Keep the mirrors you have.

BLK69,

How did you install the 70-up mirrors? It looks like the passenger side bullet mirror mounts the same as the original chrome mirror, so it wouldn't be a problem.

The problem I see is with the driver's side mirror. How did you mount the remote adjuster gizmo inside the car? Does the 69 inner steel door panel have mounting provisions for the adjuster?

My car is not original and I like the bullet mirrors better than the stock chrome ones. Any help would be appreciated.

A remote mirror option was available for 1969. if you purchase the bezel and mount it in the door panel, the remote off the '70 mirror should fit right in it...
