I've just about completed replacing my trunk pan and the only thing I have left to weld is the spare tire hold down. I'm referring to the piece that holds the hooked threaded rod.

I've looked in the books I have and can't find any information on where to place the hold down or how to orient it.

Does anyone have that information?

I don't know if this will help, but looking down at the trunk pans flat surface you will see two long vertical indentations (with a veftical raised section between them). If you put a straight edge at the top (end of the indentaions towards the back seat) and measure in 7 1/2 inches (center of bracket)from the left side where the pan curves up, it located right there. The bottom of the bracket is even with the top of the vertical indentations. Its located just up and to the left of the passenger side drain plug. Hope that helps.
