Does anyone know of any company that sells a setup that would allow the use of a clutch bellcrank with a BB Gen V block ('91)? The block has no provisions for a ball stud and im hopeing someone has made a kit. Has anyone heard of/done this?
Thank's Team.

Go to Scoggins Dickey www.sdpc2000.com (I think). They have a clutch ball bracket that monts to the bellhousing and puts the clutch ball where it should be. I'm using it on my ZZ502. You might have to use some steel spacers and longer bolts in order to mount it depending on your set up.
I had to use spacers since I'm running a scattershield.

Last time I looked, it was like $50 or so!

I figure it is about the BEST$50 I'd spend if I needed one AND I hand carve crap outta plate steel.

Yup.
The only other cautionary note is that you might need to also stick some washers behind your frame bracket (between the bracket and the frame with the bolts passing through them) that attaches to the Z-bar and run slightly longer bolts there also. I had to do this in order to compensate for the fact that the Scoggins Dickey part moved the ball stud out away from the block a little bit so I had to compensate on the other end of the Z-bar by moving the frame bracket outward (approx 1/16")...otherwise the frame bracket would not sit flush against the frame and the ball stud ran out of penetration depth into the z-bar.
Make sense?

Yes.
Was this with BB frame mounts installed? Could the bracket have been bent just a tad to compensate?

Yes.
I used the BB frame stand motor mounts from Ricks First Gen and an all new bellcrank and clutch linkage assmebly from Classic Ind. I wouldn't bend the bracket... It would weaken it. It's also much easier to just move it out with some washers and longer bolts.
