Im in the process of getting a 68/rs/ss
and i was thinking of putting a hologram on it of maybe a bowtie or ss.
I did it once a long time ago.
All I did was put on my base coat and then using a stencil, sprayed on the pearl powder with a little clear.then just clear over the whole car.
My question is do you think this will ruin the car or the value.
----
also the camaro that im getting has a paint code of ---
which means custom.
does this make the car worth more or less??
thanks
(check out my toolbox on ebay under coinkeeper)

I don't think the hologram will hurt the value, if done tastefully. It certainly won't add value to it though, if that's what your looking to do. I think the -- is a paint delete code? I'm sure someone esle will ring in on that one.......KZ

I thought the paint delete code (---) was when the paint on the Camaro was from a different G.M. product or a special order for a fleet. I might be all wet on this though.
The hologram is a personal touch. I agree that if done tastfully, it could be kinda classy, depending on where it is located and how big it is.
