I just purchased new multi leaf springs and they came with the old rubber style front eye bushings already installed. I have new polyurathane bushings that I would like to install but I can't seem to figure out how to get the ones out that came in the new springs. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks to all who have helped with others installation projects in the past. The info that I have received on this forum has been a tremendous help!

I burnt my new rubber bushings out using a butane sodering torch. Then bent and beat the cans out if I remember right..
And if you have trouble with the front mount bracket bolts spinning, I used my trusty cheap HFT 4.5" angle grinder to cut the heads off.

Those bushings are pressed in.
You could take em to a shop and have em pressed out, or use various metheds including drilling lotsa lil holes in them or burning them as Paul suggested.

I was CHEAP is all!
He, He!!
I figure around here, a Shop would want at least $10/each to press them out!!!!!!
One wanted $80 to R&R my "carry-in" A-Arms and poly bushings and I did it by hand in like 2.5 to 3 hours the HARD WAY!!!!
Made a heck of a blister in the palm of my hand tho!! Ooop's, I'm just lookin' for a wise-crack here!! Sorry-- He, He!!
