Is there an off-the-shelf exhaust manifold to pipe flange donut that has an integral pipe on the inside to support the id? This is a stock 2" system. What I'm finding at the parts stores is just the donut without the short pipe that slips inside. Without the inner support pipe I'm afraid it will blow out relatively quickly. I thought someone may have come across this before and found a part for another application that would work.

I have seen them with a crimpled, self supporting inner pipe and outer rolled "indent" ledge, then like you mention with the separate pipe and finally, in the case of AMC, half a donut with a 90 degree ledge donut gasket that STOCK, is made out of steel to seal against their flat surfaced exhaust manifold on the 258", 6-banger!
I think I might still have onna AMC's steel donuts somewhere b/c the fiber/metal one's wouldn't hold worth a sh-t.
I figure you will just have to dig deep b/c the days of going to some place like Western Auto or Grandpa Pigeons and finding this on the shelf are long gone b/c of the poorly stocked box and chain stores we have now!
Maybe you can hunt up an old established warehouse type parts local distribution store and they just may have it??
