Finally getting around to fixing my quarter windows, and have a question or two - neither side would roll up or down without grabbing the top of the glass and giving a fair amount of assistance. Would bind up without the help. After reading several threads here, I fully expected to find the center roller broken or gone completely. Guess what - it's still intact.

Questions:
!. NONE of the rollers spin freely, and in fact it takes a fair amount of effort to spin any of them by hand. I assume they should spin freely? If so, do I need to remove them from the mounting plate to work on/replace them?
2. The center roller seems to pivot - is this correct? Is it mounted on a ball stud or something?
3.The roller on the far right has some sort of spring thing that fits into the groove of the roller, and seems to act as a brake of some sort. What's up with that?
Anyway, I assume once all the rollers spin freely, and everything is cleaned and lubed I should be good to go. Any input and of course all replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
