alright i have a complete c5 running gear and suspension setup minus trans. iwas told that someone makes an adapter of somekind that will allow you to put the trans back up front instead in the rear. then you could use a regular trans like 700r4 or something like that. does anyone know if this thing even exist or not. want to put it in my 67 tried pro touring havent got any respones yet. any help would be apperacited.

You would have to change every single part on the tranny except the main case. You'll need a new front plate, input shaft, bellhousing, shifter, tail case, and outputshaft.
Not worth the $$, just find a T56 from any 93-97 LT1 style Camaro/Firebird.
