Was the intake cast iron or alluminum. Thanks

Cast iron, only the 375 HP engine used the aluminum intake.

Trivia question,.. between 1965 and 1975, did Chevy ever make an aluminum Q-Jet intake manifold?

Trivia question answer: Yes,..an aluminum Q-Jet intake was used on L-36 engines (427ci, 390hp) in 1968 & 69. The L-36 was primarily a Vette engine.
