i had this guy put my head liner in my 1969 camaro.
he did not put my dome light in i found the wires
but they to short to to hook up. wondering witch way does the wire run under the head liner also,can i take the head liner down and get to this wires. the old saying is if you want it done right do it uself

Wires go down the drivers' side sail panel.

does this wire for the dome light go in to the trunk on the left side ?
it look like i can unplug it there

Yes. It unplugs from over the outer wheelwell.
Look in through the trunk, along the quarter panel. You'll see it up over the wheel hump. It plugs into the harness for the tail lights\etc.
