Hey guys. Does anybody know the original color of the rear speaker grilles? My '69 (729 interior) has the factory rear speaker option but I suspect the grille is not the original although it matches in type and color (silver) the available aftermarket ones. I checked the interior color paint codes for a '69 and it appears as if the grille should be painted black with a 729 interior.

My package tray is quite faded but in good condition. I was thinking about shooting them both with the available interior spray paint bombs from the aftermarket guys.

Rear speaker and defogger grilles were finished using the same "suede" paint additive used on the top of the dash. It has a slightly wrinkled texture.

The cardboard package tray was not painted.
