If you are still looking for specs on this 2210af piston: Dome height= .519, Comp Dist. 2.235, compression 12.5 w/64 cc head (according to trw spec book dated 1973 . Not sure what the Comp Dist. refers to. Was it distance from head? Effective dome cc = 19.30 . Hope this helps. olympic69 Aug 12th, 06, 10:15 PM i think they are just L2210A.a guy has had them for a while now. The "30" or "60" suffix just means the overbore, ala: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=TRW%2DL2210AF60&N=700+115&autoview=sku The "F" as I understand it just means it is forged. The stock piston for a standard 302 I believe was the TRW L2209. Also, although it was a TRW casting, I am nearly sure the production piston had a GM PN imprinted on the top. zdld17 Aug 13th, 06, 05:10 PM The "30" or "60" suffix just means the overbore, ala: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=TRW%2DL2210AF60&N=700+115&autoview=sku The "F" as I understand it just means it is forged. My old TRW book llisted the 2209 as a 11.0:1 comp pistion with a effective dome cc of 12.50. The 2210 is listed as a 12.5:1 comp piston with an effective dome cc of 19.30.. This book is dated 1973 Billy d. Aug 13th, 06, 10:10 PM thanks a bunch guys! |
