Finally installed my door weatherstrip, bought with my interior kit a year and a half ago...OER brand,I know,I know,I had to try it.Well its going in the garbage
its just wrong to slam any door closed that hard! So I used softseal on my son's car...maybe we just got lucky it worked fine? I am tired of throwing money in the garbage.Should I use OER latex,Metro,or give softseal another try? Thanks for the help.

I just put the OER latex on my car and didn't find myself slamming the door. It does require a firm shut.

Yep bag was opened , as long as they were not damaged they said they would refund my money. i told them that i can not bring my self to SLAM !!! and SLAM again, than let sit closed for a week or two.
This was after they said to put in the sun for an hour or so to let it get soft.
i asked why didnt this say this in their catalog or when i ordered them, they are aware there is a problem . i just got my credit on my last visa statement .
its worth a shot.
