I have a turbo 400 i am hooking up the kickdown harness.Where it plugs into the transmission.The problem i have is the new harness is 1 wire, but the switch on the tranny has 2 prongs verses the 1 on the plug.How do you get the switch out of the tranny?does it just pull out,or do i have to drop the tranny pan and unhook it.

Drop the pan and disconnect the wire or wires, tap the connector out of the case with a long screwdriver and hammer. Install new connector with new o-ring and hook up wire and you're done.
You can eliminate the second wire if need be (if there is one ), but you have to hook-up the kickdown switch to have passing gear.
