I have a 68 with a GM ZZ383 stroker going in it and wanted to know about tires that some guys like or are running. Does anyone have a particular one that they like for the street with not much highway driving? Also how big of tire can I get underneath the fender with a 15x8 rally with 4 1/2 offset? I just don't want them sticking out. I currently have 14" rally's on it. Thanks.

I have a set of 15X8 Ralleys with 4" bs and 275 60 15 with Hotckis lowering springs No problems on my 68 and My friend has the same set up with the 4.5 bs and they fit a little better the tire doesn't stick as close to the fender. I also have a set with 255 with 4" bs I use for everday driving fit nice also. But your best bet is 4.5 bs
