I think he is talking about the 69 396 motor n539574 I think you need more then that to tell what it came out of though.

JG comes up as a 69 camaro engine L35 th 400 325 horse, def not a chevelle engine

The JG code, the fact that it's an 'N' in the partial vin, and the vin sequence 5xx,xxx , pretty much confirm a Camaro engine. The 'N' is a norwood car.

Yeah, I was referring to the engine, not the Chevelle.
