67 stock height. 17x8 235/45 on front.. then 17x8 255/45 on rear..

No problem. Although 4 1/2" bs front and rear looks and fits better.
I have 235/45R17's on 17x7's w/ 4"bs front, and 275/40R17's on 17x8's with 4 1/2" bs rear. My car is lowered 2" in the front with 500lb springs and stock height in the rear.

but with the 8 inch rim all the way around i have aftermarket discs in front and back and wanna make sure that the 8 inch rim in front and back with 4 inch b/s. will work.

8" rim with 4" bs will stick out from the fender lip a little, or may be flush anyway. But on a stock height car should still fit with 225/45 or 235/45 tires. The other thing is did you check to see if the wheels will clear your brakes? Do your wheels not come in 4 1/2" bs?

don't know they are the foose nitrous and the lip on them are huge so i'm not sure.... i hope so. man it seems like the more you do the more there is to it. thanx, Rich

I think the rears will fit. They may stick out a little, but on a stock set up they should work. The fronts may work on a stock set up as well , but I think they will stick out even with the fender lip.

The tire sizes are fine. The popular backspace for the front is 4.75". With the aftermarket discs in the front the wheels may even be pushed out a little more. I would not even consider a 4" backspace in the front. If you ever wanted to lower the car you would be buzzing the tires on the fender lips and you may do that anyway. Didn't we go through this in another thread recently?

yeah but with my 18" x 8.5 that's why i went to 17 x8 with a 4 b/s. sorry if i did not get the first thread or whatever understood. thank you for the info. Rich

Hey no need to apologize. I didn't mean to be harsh but this sounded like something we just went over. If this helps at all the backspace should stay about the same whether you are talking about 17s, 18s, 19s or even 20s. What changes is side wall profile - example 235/45-17, 235/40-18, 235/35-19 are all about the same overall diameter (25.32 - 25.4 - 25.47) but the sidewall gets shorter as the wheel diameter increases. So a 235/45-17 and a 235/40-18 almost interchange. The sidewall is a little squarer but they all need about the same amount of room.
