: Rear Spoiler on 69

Recently I bought a trunk lid & rear spoiler from a salvage yard but am having my doubts whether the spoiler is an origianl equipment spoiler. I am also trying to figure out how to mount the darn thing. The one that I have is pretty much hollow and has 5 molded arear for bolts done the middle of the underside. The ones I have seen a car show recently (mounted on cars) appeared to have a plate between the spoiler and a sort of plastic bracket.

Does anyone know where I might find some pictures on the web of the original equipment spoiler and how it mounts?
(The 69 Fischer body book doesn't show it..)

Thanks!

Well if it has stripes that end and the spoilers rear facing bottom edge, pretty good bet its original. Kinda hard to tell because spoilers are one of the things that Repo outfits do well.

Thanks for your reply!
There are no decals or painted stripes if that is what you mean.

I am more concerned about how to mount it to the trunk lid as I am unsure if I have all of the hardware necessary to do so. Anyone know of a manual or some tech sheet with a hardware picture or assembly drawing for this?

The Fischer body book doesn't show it.

Thanks.

in the Ricks first generation catalog it shows instructions for mounting the spoiler.
You can down load a catalog from Rick's at www.firstgen.com (http://www.firstgen.com) or call 1 800 359 7717. it's on page 157 in my catalog.
