: new shop coming soon
stevea Aug 19th, 06, 12:07 AM Here are a picture of the up and coming shop. Sorry about the Mustangs in the pictures, they are my sons. The 67 Camaro vert is in the old shop to the left. The other car in the picture is a 59 Lincoln Mark IV convertible.
The shop will be 36x60 with attic trusses. The attic trusses will have a 16 ft. wide room that runs the full 60 ft. I have decided to go with 12 ft. walls, I don't want to regret not going taller later. We should be pouring concrete next Friday. I will put updated pictures in as it goes up.

So let me get this straight, the Camaro is safely stored indoors and the Rustangs are outside rusting away in the rainy northwest ...
I don't see any reason to appologize at all :D
Congrates on getting a new play room
I'll have my mom call your mom and see if we can set up a 'play-day' for us :)

Rainy northwest? we haven't had any rain here in over a month, and we should be dry until late September:) My goal is to get the framing done and the roof on before the rains in October.
The Camaro has company in side. There is a 65 K code Fastback Rustang sitting next to it. I couldn't put it out to pasture.
click Aug 19th, 06, 11:22 AM Great to see this,, keep taking pics and posting, we love to see new shops being built. We live thru others experiences. :)
JWA Aug 19th, 06, 11:03 PM Looks like a good start  I have been enjoying the no rain myself, other than a few strokes of bad luck on the trucks I own. I have creek at the backside of my property which we have our own private swiming hole. It is getting used this year :)
10 day forecast looks great

Yeah - of all the Fords ever made a 'K' coded 65~66 is one I would want and can sure see keeping a Camaro company - they are almost 'twin brothers from different mothers' ;)
My bro-in-law is in Eugene - says this is one of the best summers he can remember in years! Much better than the usual "week of summer" they tend to get. We actually compared temps and he was seeing readings in th e70's in the morning while we are in the upper 50's/lower 60's here (northern CA) ...
Like others said - keep us posted with picts :thumbsup"

BPOS Aug 20th, 06, 12:04 PM The summers in Oregon are unbeatable. Warm and green, unless you live in the deserts of central/east, where it's hot and brown.
If the summers here weren't so amazing, I think I'd look elsewhere, because the rain in the winter can be a real drag.

Amen:hurray: There's no better place than Oregon in the summer. Although, I do get to missing the rain, signs of a true Oregonian:thumbsup:

Thank you for being a real Camaro guy and apologizing for the mustangs in the pic. If gas wasnt $3.00 a gallon here I would be helping you pour next Friday ( I live 1000 miles to the east )

The help would be nice. Thanks for the offer:thumbsup:
When I put a lift in the new shop, I'll put he Camaro on the top and the k code on the bottom. This way the mustang can't take a dump in the vert:D
dreamweaver Aug 21st, 06, 02:29 AM I don't hear any talk of a 69 Camaro on the horizon? Maybe you could sell the mustangs, the Mark IV, and a slice of the property so you can get one? Ha Ha... just kidding Steve. Looks like it's going to be great. When you get done bring the wife and kids back down and stay for a month or two.... you can help me put a loft in my shop and shore up the barn so the roof doesn't cave in on the animals.
Call me back, ya dawg :)

I'll give you a call this week. I can't believe you haven't put a loft in yet? How are you going to fit the next five 69's in there if you don't move all that other stuff up top? As for the barn, that should be a priority, because if your wife is like mine the goats are the most important thing on the property:)
You need a convertible, how about buying the Lincoln:thumbsup: It's a lot of work and will cost a lot of money, so it should be up your alley;)
