I have had it with my Camaro. I am tired of buying parts from name brand manufacturers that claim they fit, but not without modding the part, or just flat out buying some other brand because they just lied. I was just wondering, if I take out the motor, should I part out the rest, or let it become someone else's headache in one piece? Is it worth more whole or in pieces?

Buck offered me $1200 for mine when I threatened to "roll it out to the curb and light it on fire" after a week of bad days...
Maybe you can get the same deal. :)
Seriously, take a deep breath and give it some time off. Imagine how sweet it'll be when you've finally got it rolling. Besides, parting it out would be such a PITA and equally frustrating in my opinion.

Scott, I got so many parts from your car already, you might as well sell me the rest... ;)

i would try to hold on to it..trust me i had no idea installing a blower would take so many modifications..would i have not done it if i would have known of all the problems and frustrations? nope ..i still would have tackled it! trust me after working on custom brackets that took me all day to work on just to find out at the end they didn't work!..ahh man i had to just walk away..i bought part after part that hot rod shops would sell me and tell me this will work or those would work just to find out they didn't ..these ground up restorations arent always easy..this is our hobby it doesn't always come easy..take your time and work on it another day..try to hold on to what you have..it will be worth it in the end..just my .02...Chris

Just hang in there! We have all been through what you are going through now. Just walk away for a while and cool down. If you sell your Camaro, you will regret it later on.

You should let the others on this board know WHO is lying and WHAT does not work without modifications
that way no one else has to endure the torture you have and writing about it could be considered therapy ...
