Just finished helping out at the Shriners Hospital car show here in SLC Utah, and I can tell you there are some very generous and caring people willing to help children with handicaps. We raised 28,700 dollars with a show of only 252 cars. Many raffle prizes were donated, and I was chosen to be the auctioneer for the auction items. We earmark the money raised for adaptive bicycles for children who cannot ride traditional bikes. These adaptive bikes are designed for the individual childs handicaps and are quite pricey. Last year we raised 17,000 dollars and were able to buy 14 bikes clearing the waiting list for them. It was great to see the kids that were given bikes last year, at this years show getting around on them. A absolute roller coaster of emotions when you meet the children and their parents who have been helped by the efforts of all involved. You just always wish you could do more, and lessen the pain for children, I am just proud to be involved with this.

You should be proud. There is nothing that we can do that has more meaning than helping those in need. I salute you.
