I have a 1969 AM Radio mono speaker (Service Model No. 91APB1) and appreciate any advice on wiring and ohm for speakers.

(1) I have two four inch alpine speakers in the original center dash location, each 4 ohms. Can I run these togeter to get 8 ohms and use this with the original radio? If so, how do I wire them?

(2) looking at the back of the radio, left to right, I have four wiring spades. I think the wiring goes: first two spades are for the speaker connections, then power, then ground. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

The original speaker was 10 ohms, but it should work fine at 8 ohms.
Hook the positive speaker wire from the radio to the positive terminal on one of the speakers. Run a wire from the negative terminal of that speaker to the positive terminal on the second speaker. Then hook the negative speaker wire from the radio to the negative terminal on the second speaker.
This is called wiring the speakers in series and will give you the 8 ohms impedance you need. As far as which terminal on the radio goes where, I honestly don't remember.

Be aware that those old radios with their germanium output transistors don't like anything less than 10 ohms. It will work and probably be OK if you don't play if very loud.
