Hey guys... I just placed a big suspension order with Rick's to get my subframe back together. I had it blasted and powdercoated and it's pretty much ready to go back together. I'm getting the moog 6308s and I'll have to clean up and paint my spindles before I start the assembly. I'm sure i'll have questions during the process so get ready :). I'll have to grab the coil spring compressor from autozone that i've read about thru this forum aswell. wish me luck! check my link below for what condition my ride was in... pretty bad, but it's worthy of saving.
bolt kit (disc-mono)
hellwig 1" sway prothane
basic suspension rebuild kit
prothane frame bushings + hardware
upper CA shafts
lower CA bumper
upper CA bumper
spindle seals
rotors
backing plates

Make sure your coil spring compressor is an internal type and you will still have "fun" with getting those springs in. Hopefully their free height is not too tall.

i think you will also need wheel bearings and seals...
what are spindle seals?
do you have good brake flex lines and calipers?

There are 2 seals for each spindle. One sits on the rear of the rotor and is a grease seal, and the other sits between the backing plate and the spindle.

I did order the axle bearings and seals I just didn't list them. The seal I listed above is the Backing Plate Spindle Seal #SS-66 at Ricks $4.95 a pair. It's leather and goes between the backing plate and spindle. The other seal is the Inner Greese seal #RC-414 at Rick's 5.00 a pair.
I didn't do the calipers yet cause I actually just need the car back together enough so I can winch it onto a flatbed for transportation to my new house in october. I'm NOT goingto put all the old parts on just to take them off again. I'll probably send my calipers to Ricks to get sleeved and rebuilt unless someone here has a better idea. I could just drop them off to my local autoparts store.....
P.S. The backing plates are on internet sale at Rick's for 59.95 (http://www.rickscamaros.com/cgi-local/SoftCart.exe/online-store/scstore/internetsale.htm?L+scstore+ltpy2494ff12ea12+115626 5188) if anyone needs them.
