I have purchased tail light sockets for my 67 from NAPA and a Camaro source and both are mostly plastic with a couple of metal fingers for grounds but neither stay in firmly enough to saisfy me. Is there better ones made. Any reply appreciated.

You might look in the Help aisle and look to see if they have metal sockets.
You also might hit the dealer and see if the partsperson would look in the General Parts book for a GM replacement.

Also hit the aftermarket stores for Standard Products or Parts catalog. Try their website.
