I need a voltage regulator like the one pictured for my application, ive got a 3rd gen camaro, but the stock one only has 2 prongs (would it still work?), looks like ill need 3 or 4? Where or what application can i get one off of? It looks like the key goes to 2 different ones, is this needed?. My distruibutor and coil are MSD and are wired to a 6AL box, so ignore that part of the diagram. any input is more then welcome, thanks!

External voltage regulators were used on 1972 and earlier GM's (which also had a points distributer) which is what the pic shows (basicly). Your 3rd gen camaro has a internal voltage regulator, which is inside the alternator. You don't need (or want) a externally regulated charging system. What are you trying to do? If its for a aftermarket amp meter (just a guess) , get rid of it and get a voltmeter. See reasons here
