I am new to this forum. Great site. I am having a 69 built with the mini tub dse kit. What is the biggest tire I can put on a 20x10 rim. (Coddington supposedly is 11 inches wide 10 at bead)I am thinking 295. Heard you can go to 305-315 but would like to here from someone with experience.

I'm not sure what size tires would fit, but 20" rims on a first gen will look really really bad IMO.

Yep that is where I came up with the 295. I am going to call newstalgia tomorrow. I want as much meat as possible.

Welcome to the site Vegas. Most of us here are more of the stock or slightly modifide crowd with some pr-touring mixed in for a little flavor. Stick around and see what it's all about. We are a diverse group.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I talked to Newstalgia and he said a 315 is ok on the 20x10 Junkyard dog. Problem is the only one I can find so far is a 35 series which is 28.7 tall. Not sure that will work out. I'll let you know what I end up with.
