Bought new splash shields and started installation last Saturday. Pretty straight forward except for one thing. It's afive piece kit and I know where four of them go by what I took off the car. The last piece has me stumped.Its the only piece with a hole in it about one inch in diameter. Looks like it should go under a large washer. Any ideas? Thanks graemlins/clonk.gif

o don't remember a hole in it, but I'll bet the 5th one is the one that gets stapled to a light sheetmetal bracket that gets bolted to the rear inner fender brace, and gets clipped to the firewall.

It sounds like you are talking about the piece that goes on the bracket that mounts to the firewall below your master cylinder. Replacing those splash shields is a fun job.

Yeah, that's the one. I ended up skipping that piece. If you have trouble with the supplied staples, make your own with 18 guage galv. wire. It works alot easier.
