Well i have a big decision on my hands. Im going to be buying wheels soon, but i`m torn on which i want. The car is going to be silver with 2 black stripes, it will be a back and forth to school car, with moderate racing till i get the chevelle running. I can get used rally wheels that i can make time payments on (through a friends shop) that will most likely have the old tired on them, or i can save up and buy a brand new set of weld wheels (or any other good looking wheel). Now heres where the delema comes in.........With the rally`s, i will eventually want to powder coat them, and possibly get new trim rings, but i can bolt them on and use them for now and get new tires and paint on them later,plus i can make time payments..........or i can buy the brand new wheels, but have to wait until i get new tires, and i have to save up and wait for them

Man this is a hard decision.....what do u guys think??

Hmmmm, do the ralley's. It will suck when the cars ready to drive and you can't because "no wheels or tires". Unless you think you can save the money between now & july.
The ralley's will clean up nice easily enough to get you by, and you can buff the rings to make them look better.
They are heavier so not very desirable for what you want. But you can always sell them later.

I have always liked the Weld wheels,especally the Drag Lites.They have been around forever and have never gone out of style.For the money they are hard to beat.I like the Ralleys also.They both look good on a Camaro.Since you will be driving the car a lot.I would go with the Ralleys.The upkeep with polishing and all that goes along with Welds,and the graemlins/hurray.gif the rusty lug nuts and washers,that will happen when you run the Welds on a everyday street ride are a hastle compared to the Ralleys.I,d put Ralleys on my car.

Ralleyes are the best looking wheel on a 1st generation Camaro, bar none, period. IMHO......KZ

Ralleys are the choice for me, if money is a problem just hand sand them and paint them argent silver yourself and then buff out the trim rings and center caps...You will be happy with the results...just my .02...Mike

thanks for the replys guys.....i am still torn, but i figure rally wheels have been around for this many years, i think they will always look good and be around. so i think they will be my choice......thanks again you guys are the best
