installed the vent windows on a friends car. The drivers side vent lines up perfectly. Yet, the passenger side has a one inch gap at the top. this gap is including all weatherstriping already installed. Is there a way to realign the vent window to close the gap? or are they just suppose to fall in place? The door is perfectly aligned with the fender and rear quarter. Can someone help?

At the bottom of the vent window "post" there is a adjustment. Loosen the nut and use screw driver to adjust. Don't remember if the threads are standard of left hand, but as far down the post as the assembly is a small adjustment should make a big difference.
