Hello all i'm currently in the middle of the unisteer rack and pinion install on my 67 Camaro, and have gotten to the shaft set-up, but would like some ideas on how the rest of you have set this up. I did do a search which gave me some bad links, and I emailed unisteer for pics with no response. So if you've done this install and its working great, please give us some pics.

Mike

I got to say this your (unisteer's) "instructions" are the same for the smc and the big block but you say and send the two joint one shaft kit for a small block
I have the power unit with the 2 joint kit and I think I can make it work, but it is a very time consuming task and, there can be know blame to the car frame or column or anything else car related it is the design of the kit and the lack of knowledgeable, experienced support that is sad. I can not say I wish I had not bought the unisteer r&p but I can say it has not been a pleasurable experience, and I thoroughly enjoy fabricating and modifying while working on my car. I have almost got the shaft done I hope and if anybody is interested I will post pics and the trouble I went through to make it work this is an old thread but it still needs some help

Look up my unisteer posts; also on page 3 of Pro-Street - "Video of our 69 BB". There's some film of our unisteer/custom frame bracket setup. Good luck...............DC
